The Neo-Renaissance garden was founded in 1880 as the first publicly available garden in Dijon. There is a picturesque pond and several historic fountains and sculptures. At the entrance stands a statue depicting a polar bear, a replica of the work of François Pompon, located in the Orsay Museum.
