The construction of the Romanesque collegiate church began in the 10th century on the site of the former Roman amphitheater and continued in the following centuries in the Gothic style. At the end of the 18th century, the temple was turned into a warehouse, and over the next 100 years the devastation continued. After World War II, the historic building was renovated and adapted for exhibition purposes.
