Carcassonne Cathedral

The Gothic cathedral dates from the 13th century and was classified as a national monument. It has a fairly simple facade, which is crowned with a decorative rosette measuring 8 m in diameter. An interesting fact is that formerly the cathedral was part of the defensive fortifications of the city.
