Created in the second half The eighteenth century square is a valuable example of urbanism in the classicist era. The most interesting buildings include the Hotel Fouet and the monumental courthouse from 1783, designed by Armand Lefebvre. In the center of the square stands a bronze statue of Louis XIV, depicted in Roman costume.
