The church was built at the turn of the 11th and 12th centuries in the center of Caen and rebuilt several times in the following centuries. It is a mixture of Romanesque and Gothic styles and consists of three naves supported by external buttresses and a Romanesque tower. Inside, you can see the restored Renaissance frescoes on the vault.
