Brissac Castle
Local name: Château de Brissac
Originally a gothic castle in the Loire Valley, rebuilt in the style of renaissance mansions. It is the tallest of the local castles. It has as many as 7 floors. The castle belongs to the Cosse family. It is open to the public. There are also luxurious hotel rooms. Performances at the annual Loire Festival take place in the chateau theater.
