Built in the first half of the 13th century, the Gothic church was recognized as the second most important in the city after the cathedral. It was built in the style of the Burgundy Gothic on the plan of an elongated rectangle with a polygonal enclosed presbytery surrounded by a bypass. The simple, stone and very rough interior is covered with rib vaults. In the presbytery and one of the side chapels, Renaissance stained glass windows have been preserved.
