A city fountain built in the 19th century standing on the main square of Besançon. Its author was the famous sculptor Alphonse Delacroix. The fountain is made of stone and presents a richly decorated vase placed on a decorated pedestal, and is a tribute to the development of engineering that allowed water to enter the city.
