The Jyväskylä Art Museum was founded in 1998. It is devoted primarily to contemporary art, both Finnish and international. The collections include mainly paintings, sculptures, graphics, photographs and art installations. The Ratamo Graphics and Photography Center operates at the museum, which includes a gallery, as well as graphic and photo studios.
