Montazah Palace

Local name: قصر المنتزة

The palace complex was built in 1892 by Abbas II Hilmi, the last Egyptian kedywa. His architecture shows a mix of Ottoman and Florentine styles. Attention is drawn especially to open arcades with sea views. Currently, the palace serves as a museum. The extensive garden surrounding it has also been made available to visitors.
