In the center, you can learn about different aspects of salt extraction, production and use. During the visit, you can see the breweries used to extract salt from sea water and take the elevator down to learn about the working conditions in the mine.
The collection includes an extensive collection of salt shakers from around the world, numbering over 2,000 exhibits. There are also exhibitions, both traditional and in the form of audio-visual interactive panels. You can also join a laboratory workshop and conduct a series of experiments under the supervision of instructors. The biggest attractions, however, include swimming in a special pool, where the water has the same degree of salinity as the Dead Sea.
At the center there is also a cafe and a shop where you can buy, among others thematic books, various types of salt, cosmetics and toys.
