Punkvy Caves (Punkevní jeskyně) are located in the Protected Landscape Area of the Moravian Karst. A unique underground route has been prepared for tourists. During the tour, you can see stalactites and stalagmites of various shapes, including a local curiosity, or stalagmite pair - "Dwarf" and "Vase". Rafting down the Punkva river is definitely the biggest attraction of the trip.
One of the sections of the route leads to the bottom of the Macocha Abyss, a karst funnel over 138 meters deep. From below you can admire the green, steep chasm walls and a small lake at its bottom.
During the underground walk towards the Macocha Abyss, tourists will come across a 4-meter stalactite called the "Guard" and a stalagmite called the "Salma Pole", as well as the amazing "Mirror Lake".
