The Church of the Transfiguration towers over the Old Town of Tabor. It is a late Gothic temple with a tower topped with a Baroque cupola. It is currently a vantage point from which you can admire the city panorama.
The church was built at the end of the 15th century. He received a call that referred to the name of the city given by the Hussites. It stands on a small rise, making it visible from afar above the lower buildings.
It is a three-nave hall church with a narrower presbytery closed on several sides. Its side walls are decorated with Renaissance gables. The Renaissance is also a gallery added to the Gothic tower, currently built-up and visible only as windows on the top floor. It is crowned with a baroque helmet with a latany. The interior of the church is raw and simple. The naves are separated from each other by polygonal pillars. The main altar was made at the end of the 19th century and has neo-Gothic features. A picture of the Transfiguration of the Lord was placed in it.
