Zlatni Rat beach is considered one of the most beautiful in all of Croatia. It is a sandy beach (which is rare in this country), and its location on the island of Brac is ideal for wind- and kitsurfers. For this reason, there is a rich infrastructure on site - a surfing and diving school, food outlets, a playground and parking. During the season, professional rescuers watch over safety.
Zlatni Rat has the shape of a picturesque 300-meter long promontory, which due to the action of wind and sea waves is constantly changing its shape. Due to its popularity, it is also very crowded - in summer it is difficult to find a free place for a sunbed. The beach is located near the town of Bol, which is worth visiting. It houses, among others Dominican monastery built in 1475 and the shrine of Our Lady of Mercy with valuable Renaissance and Baroque works.
