Kanjon Vrženica is a deep gorge that leads from Baška to the Vela Luka beach. The yellow trail starts near the Vrženica beach and leads mainly through a deep gorge. The road is difficult and definitely recommended only to well-prepared tourists, both in terms of condition and equipment.
In the summer, the biggest threat is the almost complete absence of shade and rock landslides here and there. There are also several places on the trail that require climbing or short climbing, as well as quite steep climbs.
Equally dangerous and demanding is the entrance to the Vrženica beach. The road to it leads because a narrow path on the mountainside. On the one hand, we have a rock, on the other, many meters below the sea. The route is not suitable for trips with small children.
