It is the longest chairlift in Bulgaria. Its total length is 3990 m. It consists of two parts. The first was built in 1980 and is 2,630 m long. Its lower station is on the outskirts of the city, near the monastery, at an altitude of 557 m. The second station is at an altitude of 832 m. The journey between them usually takes 22 minutes.
The second part of the route was built in 1989. It runs from the Pochivaloto area to the Nezabravka refuge. The route is 1,360 meters long and takes about 15 minutes.
