The Singing Fountain is located on a small lake in the picturesque Garden of Tsar Simeon. On selected days, music shows are held here, combined with the colorful illumination of the fountain. They start in the evenings after dark, so the schedule changes from season to season.
The garden with the fountain was founded by the Swiss landscape architect Lucien Chevalas in 1892. From 1879 he was officially responsible for all city greenery by Tsar Simeon II, and in 1901 he became an honorary citizen of the city.
