The park has a series of picturesque waterfalls on the Proinovska River, the largest travertine cascade in Bulgaria. The gently falling water creates numerous circular terraces and natural pools filled with warm water. There are several walking routes that can be followed by the whole family.
Part of the route includes a visit to several picturesque caves. In the Krushuna Cave there is the spring of the Proinovska River, on which the aforementioned waterfalls form. Several smaller caves surrounding it were inhabited by Christian hermits in the 13th-14th centuries. There is also a small church carved into the rock, which used to be most likely part of the monastery.
There are also hot springs in the area. The water in them measures approx. 58 ° C and has a beneficial effect on rheumatism as well as skin and gynecological problems.
