Sutjeska National Park

Local name: Nacionalni Park Sutjeska

It is the oldest national park in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It covers the area of mountains with the highest peak in the country, Maglić, measuring 2386 m and the remnant of the original Perućica forest. The park also has 9 lakes and a picturesque waterfall. Chamois, bears, wild boars and wolves can be found here.
