The monastery of Discalced Carmelites began to be established at the end of the 13th century, shortly after the settlement in Ghent. The complex consists of two monastery buildings, a church, sacristy, guest house, hospital and brewery. Currently, it is an exhibition space - you can see here, among others archaeological and ethnographic collections.
