Palais de la Charles de Lorraine once served as the residence of the Governor General of the Austrian Netherlands - Charles of Lorraine. Currently, the building houses a museum of the eighteenth century. Five rooms were made available to visitors, which were reconstructed so that they could feel the atmosphere of an old era.
The facility presents collections illustrating the life of eighteenth-century aristocracy. The exhibits included, among others, antique clocks, porcelain, silver tableware and old musical instruments. The museum is also a kind of tribute to one of the most hedonistic historical figures - Charles of Lorraine.
