The Parlamentarium, or the European Parliament Visitors' Center, offers the opportunity to learn the principles governing the European Union and the history of its creation. Visitors can find out exactly what Members do, how many are, what rights they have and how they affect the lives of ordinary citizens. All this is possible through a multimedia exhibition that is available in 24 languages.
The ceremonial opening of the Parlamentarium took place on October 14, 2011, and was carried out by the then President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek. The permanent exhibition presents hundreds of objects, documents and multimedia whose task is to explain the principles of EP functioning in an accessible way.
At the entrance to the Parlamnetarium, everyone gets PMG (Personal Multimedia Guide), which allows you to listen to the guiding text and automatically launches presentations that the visitor approaches.
