An extremely narrow, easy-to-overlook avenue near the Antwerp City Hall, was built at the end of the 16th century as a settlement for local shoemakers. It is now a secluded corner where you can relax from the hustle and bustle of the city, eat a meal and listen to a concert of carillons from the tower of the nearby cathedral.
