Windhaag Castle Ruins

The ruins of a medieval castle are now a tourist attraction and a valued viewpoint on Machland and the Alps. The 13th-century Gothic castle was erected on a hill at an altitude of 500 m above sea level, which provided excellent defensive properties. The building was abandoned in the 17th century and has since fallen into ruin.
