Hermagor-Pressegger See is a tourist town in the Carnic Alps. There is a large ski resort with over 100 km of slopes of various difficulty levels. In summer, the area around the city is suitable for hiking and relaxation can be found at the local lake.

The town has developed on the shores of Lake Pressegger See, whose waters in summer heat up to 28 degrees Celsius. There is Hermagor Bath with a beach and recreational areas. You can also go canoes and boats on the lake.

The Hermagor-Pressegger See arouses the greatest interest of tourists in winter. The biggest attraction is the local ski resort located at an altitude of 600 to over 2,000 m above sea level. It is supported by several dozen cable cars and lifts, including the Millenium Express cable car, the Gartnerkofel chairlift.
