Rollett Museum

Local name: Rollettmuseum

The oldest museum in Lower Austria was founded in 1810 by Anton Rollett. In 1876, the collection was handed over to the city. Over the years, it has been expanded and currently includes Neolithic finds from Baden, skulls handed over to Rollett by Gall, botanical and zoological objects, artifacts from the Middle Ages to the 19th century related to the history of the city. The City Archives are located in the same building.
