17th-century castle in Upper Austria, an example of Renaissance architecture. From 1898, a center for the disabled was active in it, which was taken over by the Nazis during World War II. As part of Action T4, a "euthanasia" center was created here, in which murdered sick people who were considered "worthless" by the Nazi regime. A museum of the euthanasia center has existed in the castle since 1997.
