Praza das Praterías

In the past, silver was traded between the southern wall of the cathedral and the buildings of the canonical monastery. Today, the square is known primarily as the seat of the municipal authorities, which have their offices in the Rajoy Palace. There are also two historic towers at the square: the baroque Torre del Reloj (Clock Tower) and the Treasury Tower.
