Slottsträdgården

The Castle Garden (Slottsträdgården) in Malmö covers an area of 12,000 m² and comprises several parts representing different styles. Here, visitors can visit a cozy café and relax at a table overlooking the colorful flowers. You can also buy plants grown on site.

The castle garden is an ecological cultivation of ornamental plants, the gardeners taking care of it use only environmentally safe methods and preparations. Interesting events for guests are organized here almost all year round. You can take part, incl. at the Spring Festival, Autumn Festival or the Malmö Garden Show.

The local farmers came up with the idea of creating a flower garden in the city center. Work on the preparation of the site for this ecological breeding began in 1994. The garden was opened in the spring of 1998.
