The historic park consists of three parts. The central, main part is a former castle park in the English Romantic style. It is made up of avenues radiating out from the palace, along which mighty trees grow, such as oaks, yews, pines, limes and larches. There are also ponds where you can often see ducks and swans.
From the east there is the so-called Dworcowy Park. The part of the park on the west side is called the Wild Promenade or the Zoo. There is a golf course here, which is adjacent to the area where the Demonstration Bison Farm was established.
The park was established in the 16th century. Initially, it had the form of a vegetable and herb garden with an adjacent zoo. At the end of the 18th century, it was transformed into a park and baroque garden. Its contemporary appearance is the result of the reorganization and reconstruction of the park carried out in the second half of the 19th century.
