Nano Nagle's Place is a Cork Memorial Center for the Foundress of the Presentation Sisters and her work. It is located in the former buildings of the Ursuline monastery. It consists of an exhibition about the life of Nagle, an archive, a garden, a cemetery, a cafe and a shop.
Nano Suddenly lived in the 18th century. She founded the Sisters of the Presentation, which is dedicated to teaching and helping children from poor families. A modern, multimedia exhibition shows the life of 18th-century Cork and the activities of the founder of the congregation. You can also find out where and how gifts are currently working. In addition to the exhibition, the Center also houses an archive that also includes records of schools and nursing homes run by the sisters in Ireland.
There is a cemetery at the back of the center. There is a modern monument here - the Nano Nagle mausoleum. The Ursuline sisters and presents are buried nearby. The center also offers books and other materials about the congregation and its founder.
