The National Leprechaun Museum is a museum dedicated to Irish folklore and mythology. Visitors follow a guide through several different rooms. You can learn about the history of Irish gnomes and their importance in folklore and pop culture. There is also, among others, tunnel with optical illusions and a souvenir shop.
The museum opened in 2010 and is located on Jervis Street in Dublin. It was designed by Tom O'Rahilly and two Italian designers, Elena Micheli and Walter Scipioni. Work on its construction started in 2003. It is considered to be the first dwarf museum in the world. The Irish Times described it as "The Louvre of the Dwarfs".
