The Fusilier Arch is located at the entrance to Stephen's Green Park in Dublin. It is dedicated to the soldiers of the Royal Dublin fusilier battalions who fought during the Second Boer War in what is now South Africa.
The arch was built in 1907 with social contributions. It was modeled on the Arch of Titus in Rome. It is 10 meters high and 8.5 meters wide. It is made of granite, and the boards are carved in limestone.
The places of battle and the names of 222 soldiers of the fusiliers battalion who died in the Second Boer War were written on the commemorative plaques. It is one of only a handful of monuments commemorating the colonial wars of Great Britain that were not destroyed after the creation of the Irish Free State.
