The museum of technology is located on the site of a former power plant and gas plant. It was founded in 1975 and has been devoted to working-class, craft and industrial culture since the mid-19th century. the development of Danish industry and the changing realities of working class life over the years.
The museum has reconstructed a full street with a series of shops and workshops that replicate the appearance of the 1950s. You can visit a clothing store, a hairdresser and a butcher here. Among the collected exhibits there is also a collection of motorcycles produced by the Danish company Nimbus.
