Марина Ла Рошель - Les Minimes

The marina in La Rochelle - Les Minimes is the largest marina for pleasure boats, not only on the island but in the entire French territory. It is also one of the largest marinas in the world. It can accommodate approximately 5,000 boats up to 100 m long.

The marina consists of four pools. The berths are equipped with water and electricity. There are also workshops, sailing schools and boat and water equipment rentals.

As a curiosity, it is worth mentioning that the name Les Minimes refers to the order of the minimites, i.e. smaller brothers who founded a monastery here already in the Middle Ages.
