Charruyer Park

The extensive park is nearly 2 km long. Numerous streams run among the picturesque alleys in the place of former drainage ditches. There is also a playground for children and a small animal park where you can see peacocks, swans, goats and deer up close.

The park was built in 1887-1890 on the initiative of Adèle Charruyer, daughter of the shipowner and owner Etienne Charruyer. It was founded on the site of the former military fortifications.
