Castillo Castiglione del Terziere

Some parts of the castle walls date from the 6th or 7th century, but the exact date of its construction is unknown. Some of the most important medieval names are associated with the castle, including: Castruccio Castracani, Dante Alighieri, Niccolò Piccinino and Francesco Sforza. Today it houses the Niccolò V Center for Humanities Studies, a music school, an archive and a library.
