Place Jean Jaurès

The harmoniously designed square with lanes of tall trees, a music pavilion and a centrally located fountain is surrounded by numerous restaurants and shops. There is also a bust of the patron of the square - the French socialist, Jean Jaurès, murdered in 1914 by nationalists.
