Tesoro de Vix - Museo del País Châtillonnais

The "treasure of Vix" is used to describe the magnificent burial of a woman (Lady of Vix), discovered in the middle of the 18th century. At present, the museum houses a reconstruction of the wagon on which the body rested, valuable ornaments found with it, and a 1100-liter bronze crater (a vessel for mixing wine).
