The geological museum was built near the chalk cliffs of Møns Klint. There is an exhibition on the history of Denmark from prehistoric times around 70 million years ago. In the main hall there are cabins arranged in the shape of caves, in which you can see the works of Danish artists.
Then, the visitors follow a gallery along which there are exhibitions presenting successively different geological levels. It houses an exhibition of fossils, visualizations, models and designs, as well as interactive computer screens. There are attractions waiting for children, such as the screening of 3D movies or a treasure hunt.
Much of the exhibition space is underground. It is worth adding that the museum is located in a building awarded at the international WAF architectural festival as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world.
