National Park Center

The oldest and largest protected area in the country and the only national park in Switzerland. The area is part of the UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. The park has a typical Alpine fauna and one of the largest pine forests in the Alps. In the visitors' center there is an exhibition dedicated to the history of the reserve.
