Swiss Miniature

The Swissminiatur in Melide is a miniature park, where you can see models of the most beautiful Swiss buildings and important objects, including Zurich-Kloten airport from 1958, the Freuler palace from Glarus, the Grindelwald-Grund-Männlichen gondola lift, a farm from the Jura and the amphitheater in Avenches.
Various types of events are organized in the park, e.g. Mother's Day and Father's Day and Children's Day with attractions for children, as well as National Day. You can also watch temporary exhibitions here, including Photographic. In the local self-service restaurant you can enjoy local dishes as well as Indian and Chinese dishes.
New models regularly appear in the park. They are extremely carefully designed and made. There are even some small details that give them reality, trees and green areas are placed around the buildings, you can also see small figures of people.
