Swiss Customs Museum

The museum is located directly on Lake Lugano, in the vicinity of the border with Italy. In the past, the building was a border point between two countries. The gallery describes the history of smuggling in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, as well as the work of customs officers trying to stop this phenomenon.
