Lugano Boat Trip

The main Lugano railway station was opened in 1874. Located on a hill west of the center, overlooking the city and the lake. In the years 1990–1992 the station was renovated and expanded. The building at street level has become a restaurant. There is also a large square in front of the station, with no traffic other than buses and taxis.
