Gandria Village

The area is also part of the city of Lugano, as well as a village on the shore of the lake. In the village a car ban was imposed, thanks to which it was possible to preserve the traditional atmosphere and the form of many buildings. It houses the popular Swiss Museum of Smuggling and former border guard barracks.
