In the Malmös Reptil Center, visitors can see many exotic species of animals, mainly reptiles - snakes, turtles and lizards, as well as amphibians such as frogs from all over the world.
Among the tenants of this small zoo there are also: monkeys (e.g. pygmies), birds (e.g. cockatoos), bats (e.g. Nile reddish), predatory fish (such as piranhas), and even African scorpions and crocodiles. . An inhabitant of the Malmös Reptil Center was formerly a kangaroo, but he had to move to the zoo in Öland.
The Malmös Reptil Center is located in one of the most beautiful parks in the area, the Folkets Park. The founder of this place is Frank Madsen, who came up with the idea of creating a collection of exotic animals in 1983. He runs the center to this day.
