Skäralid Valley

The Skäralid Valley is located in the Söderåsen National Park, near Ljungbyhed. It is a deep, fissured valley stretching for nearly 8 km in length. It is surrounded by high cliffs, which are 90 m high. There are fanciful rock formations and lush vegetation, from beech forest to fern clusters.

A hiking trail runs through the valley. Before starting your hike, it is a good idea to first go to the visitor center, which is located at the very entrance to the valley. It houses exhibitions on the local fauna, flora and geology.
