Hallamölla is a waterfall on the Verkeån River, located in a nature reserve. It is 23 m high, which makes it the highest waterfall in Skåne. In autumn, you can see migrating trout and sturgeon here. The name of the waterfall comes from the watermill standing next to it, the history of which dates back to at least the end of the 15th century.
Over the years, there were also other workshops and industrial facilities using the power of the river, such as a dairy and dye-works near the cascade, but only a mill with a large mill wheel has survived to this day. The present building dates from the mid-19th century. It was built of half-timbered houses. It is open to the public.
