Facade of the University of Valladolid

The facade was built in the first half Eighteenth century. This is the most perfect example of a baroque public building in Valladolid. The facade features allegorical sculpture groups depicting subjects taught at the university. The balustrade is decorated with statues of four Spanish kings who favored the city's university.
