Clock Tower

Local name: Torre del Reloj

The clock tower is the unquestionable landmark of the city. Its construction ended in the 13th century, but the clock and the belfry were not added until the second half of the 19th century. XIV century. The historic tower houses the oldest bell in the city, weighing nearly one and a half tons. The hallmark of the building is a niche with a painting by Nuestra Señora de los Remedios.
